Amad Ali Suleiman Al Hosni, also spelled "Imad" (Arabic: عماد علي الحوسني), (born 18 July 1984) is an Omani footballer. He currently plays for Al-Ahli Sports Club.
Career
Al Hosni was signed by Charleroi in September 2009 on free transfer. He signed a 2+1 year contract.[1]
International career
Al Hosni has made several appearances for the Oman national football team, including 13 qualifying matches for the 2006 and 2010 FIFA World Cup.[2] He has been on the national squad since 2003, and first showed his talent during the 2003 Gulf Cup, scoring a goal against Saudi Arabia. During the 2004 Gulf Cup of Nations, Al Hosni scored a total of 4 goals, 2 against Iraq, as well as 2 against Bahrain, winning the award of "Best Player" of the competition. He also scored 3 goals in the 2004 Asian Cup, 2 against Iran, and 1 against Thailand, as well as scoring 2 goals in the 2007 Gulf Cup, 1 against U.A.E and another against Kuwait.
